Becoming Apparent, Inc. is a non profit organization that works toward breaking the dysfunctional cycle of bitter custody battles and rebuilds families, thus giving children the opportunity to grow and become leaders in the community. Our goal at Becoming Apparent, Inc. is to smooth the transition process by educating parents on how the legal system works in Bexar county and San Antonio metro area.

KICK - OFF FOR CHILD ABUSE PREVENTION MONTH                                                                         
Becoming apparent, Inc will have a booth at KidsDAY in the Park. Will be held at San Pedro Springs on Saturday, April 9, 2011 from 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM - KidsDay in the Park is an SAAEYC event Sponsored by the Blue Ribbon Task Force & United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County. FREE, fun activities & events will be provided for young children (birth through ten years of age) WE will have a craft booth. So come out & join us looking forward to seeing you there. 

2011 Spring Community Annual Garage Sale the Lookout Canyon POA garage sale. There will be 5 subdivisions participating on Saturday April 16th, from 9am. - 4 p.m. BECOMING APPARENT will be at - Address is 26123 Lookout Falls SA TX 78260. Tuesday, April 19th: Proclamation of National Crime
Victims’ Rights Week by Bexar County
Becoming Apparent will be attending Commissioners Court meeting during which National Crime Victims
Rights Week will be proclaimed. The proclamation will be held in the Bexar County Courthouse, Commissioners Courtroom at 11:00a.m.

Monday, April 25: Victim Call-In Hotline
Victims may call 351-1366 at KSAT-TV from noon to 7:00p.m. for info. concerning the criminal justice system.
  
Tuesday, April 26: Open House
Becoming Apparent will be having an open house on Tuesday, April 26th from 9:00a.m. to 5:00p.m.  All organizations are invited. Bring your pamplets and see if we can partner up.  Refreshments will be served.

Reshaping The Future Honoring The Past.
Becoming Apparent will be attending the National Crime Victims Rights Week. April 25-30, 2011

Balloon Release Event: Monday, April 25th at 10:00am at Paul Elizondo Tower next to Justice Center. Various City & County officials will be attendance, as well Singer Patsy Torres. Kick-Off NCVRW Goal;-To our community that we, as Victim Service providers, stand strong together ready to serve our clients, and we wish to raise awareness of victims rights. A special thank you to Bexar County District Attorney's office.

 Thursday, April 28th: Victims Tribute
Becoming Apparent will be attending a special service dedicated to victims of crime which will include a
memorial wreath blessing, a laying ceremony, and lighting of our victims flame.; The event will be held
at the San Antonio Police Academy, 12200 SE Loop 410 from 10:00a.m. to 12:00 noon. Angel Martinez will
be performing the National Anthem. Free parking is available.

NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS’ RIGHTS WEEK: NATIONAL CRIME VICTIMS’ RIGHTS CELEBRATION
 
FRIDAY, APRIL 29, CHILDREN’S PICNIC
 A picnic honoring victims of crime, particularly children, will be held on Friday, April 29th from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., in Milam Park. Everyone is invited to join the festivities, which will include games, clowns, face painting, pony rides, petting zoo, a visit from the Spurs Coyote, McGruff the Crime Fighting Dog, BACA, and others. Lunch will be served.

Becoming Apparent will have a booth making crafts and giving out toys. Come out and join us. Special thanks to Victim Services and Bexar County District Attorney’s office.
